FPAI Regulatory Insights Group (RIG)
FinTech and regulation increasingly go hand in hand and accordingly a cornerstone of the association's activities comprise consultation with members and, where appropriate, individual constituencies within the membership, to gather views on regulatory challenges and opportunities facing the Irish FinTech ecosystem.
The FPAI RIG seeks to:
- Provide a forum for the sharing of experiences in tackling regulatory challenges amongst members.
- Running focused educational events and programmes.
- Leverage the scale of its membership to gain access to guidance papers and engagement processes with applicable regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Organise industry responses to consultations/surveys etc. issued by regulatory authorities and other.
