- Opportunity to contribute to the Government’s ‘Ireland for Finance’ strategy for the development of the international financial services sector in Ireland. Actions which BPFI/FPAI are directly responsible for driving include:
- Formation of the ‘FinTech Foresight Group’ to advise and inform Government on emerging technologies in the Irish Financial Services sector.
- Creation of the ‘Financial Foundry’ which will promote sharing of ideas, testing of concepts and ongoing collaboration between FinTech’s, banks and other stakeholders in Financial Services
- Opportunity to co-host/co-sponsor FPAI events that allow for and support engagement and networking opportunities with fellow professionals drawn from banking, legal and advisory, technology, academia and semi-state entities.
- Regular updates from our Dublin and Brussels based teams on related matters, including updates on technical issues, BPFI/FPAI engagements with Government, Central Bank of Ireland, EU bodies and other relevant stakeholders as well as up-to-date news on scheduled activities and events .
All members of the FPAI enjoy access to our networking events, training sessions and specialist working groups. Membership is open to both Irish and international companies or individuals.
